Not living in Japan I didn't have a chance to enter the contest and so unfortunettly my only option was to aquire it on the secondary market. For two years I kept a look out for anyone who had the Gold Optimus Prime. I looked on auction sites, conventions, and inquired around to other Transformers collectors. I finally got a lucky break one day and found a dealer in Japan who knew a collector who had one. As for the price, well lets just say it wasn't cheap. Two weeks later I went down to the post office to pick up a nice big package.
